Discord App

Discord is an instant messaging and VoIP social platform. Users have the ability to communicate with voice calls, video calls, text messaging, media and files in private chats or as part of communities called "servers". MACURH utilizes Discord as its main communication outside of emails to engage with representatives and advisors.

How to Use Discord

To get added to the MACURH Discord Server, make sure to download the application to your desktop or mobile device and then use the form at the bottom of this page to request access. Once confirmed as an institution representative, you will be emailed a link to access the Discord server.

Use the resources to the right to learn to navigate Discord and how to setup notifications. If you download both desktop and mobile apps, you will need to setup notifications for both separately. 

Make sure to read the #guidelines & #roles channels to to establish tags for your account and gain access to specific channels as well as understand the rules that govern the use of the server. The Regional Board of Directors ask if you have questions, use the #questions channel or email a member of the board director outside of Discord.
