About Truman

The Wonders of Truman

2:00 pm

08-11 February

Home of the Bulldogs, Truman State University was founded in 1867 and although its

name has changed seven times in its 150 years of existence, Truman's prestigious reputation and

critically and globally minded graduates have not. Truman is named after the only Missouri

president, Harry S. Truman.

Truman State's Liberal Studies Program emphasizes three areas: essential skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, and personal well-being; modes of inquiry including fines arts, literature, mathematics, and science; and interconnecting perspectives which allow students to build upon, understand,

and appreciate knowledge they have gained. With nearly 6,000 undergraduate students, Truman

offers approximately 50 undergraduate degrees and supports over 240 on-campus clubs and

organizations.

About the Conference

What is the MACURH Regional Business Conference?
The Regional Business Conference (RBC) is an opportunity for the Midwest Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (MACURH) to come together and discuss regional initiatives, aid each other in our leadership journeys and build connections throughout the Midwest. The family will be coming together again in February 2018 at Truman State University for the first-ever extended RBC. During these days, on-campus leaders will discuss their organizational successes and struggles. Besides support in these challenges, opportunities for professional and personal development will be prevalent with socials, legislation, award bid review, and enlightening presentations. We cannot wait to see you at MACURH RBC 2018: Diamond in the Ruff!
