  • What is MACURH?
    • MACURH​ stands for the Midwest Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls. Consistent with the Articles of Incorporation of NACURH, Inc., the purpose of MACURH shall be to promote student intellectual, educational, cultural, physical and social welfare; to design and facilitate programs and informational services; to provide an avenue for assisting students to achieve fuller participation in the life of the college community and to extend the influence and good name of our organization everywhere.
  • What does my school need to do to affiliate?
    • ​To begin the affiliation process, visit the NACURH website. You will find information on dues, affiliation forms, and the Resource File Index (RFI). If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our CO for Outreach at
  • How much are the dues?
    • The dues for a full membership are $110 USD. ​
  • What is the RFI?
    • The RFI is a ​collection of student written documents submitted to NACURH over the organization's existence. These are explanations of multiple topics from programs to improvements in residence halls (there are 45 categories to choose from).   • What is the National Residence Hall Honorary?
    • The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is the premiere honorary supported by the leading international organization advocating for the interests and welfare of residence hall students, while also providing opportunities for their personal growth and development. NRHH strives to provide recognition for individuals who have contributed to the advancement of college and university housing. It ensures the advancement of member chapters through resource sharing, programming, and leadership development opportunities to contribute and support the vision of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls, Incorporated.​
  • What does it take to start a National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) Chapter?
    • There are several steps involved in creating a NRHH Chapter on your campus. These include: forming a chartering committee, connecting with your AD-NRHH​ at, drafting a constitution, planning for your first induction ceremony, and getting your constitution reviewed and submitting a member list.   • How can I prepare for a conference?
    • First, make sure that you are affiliated! Next, register your delegation for the conference. Look over the schedule and spirit and philanthropy opportunities and prepare with your delegation. Also, make sure to read all bids and legislation prior to arriving at the conference. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Regional Director at​
